WIP: Steyr Conversions

Using conversion kits by S&S to create a steyr radio car and a flak cab. The Flak 38 is by Zvezda - i was too lazy to built the white metal flak provided by S&S :-) 

Fallen Frontiers Riff

Some years ago i backed a kickstarter campaign for this board game Fallen Frontiers - which i never played :-) The miniatures are quite nice though and i rediscovered them during the move to the new house. I promised myself to paint some minis of the alien invaders force (called Riff) from time to time now...

Avanpost Miniatures

Recently i came aross this range of miniatures Avanpost . Amongst other things they offer multipart 28mm TYW/ECW miniatures. I am not sure exactly but I guess these are 3D printed minis and probably shrunk versions of their larger 75mm figures. However, the quality is really high: details are crisp, proportions and figure poses are very realistic, overall fit and finish is excellent. Assembly is very easy. Some of the details like laces and belt buckles are so fine - i will having a hard time painting them (test for the magnifying goggles :-)

Compared to Perry French plastic knights they are about the same size, Avanpost horses are a bit smaller though.

Heroes of Bretonnia - Part 5

The knight - actually the only original Citadel mini of the bunch along with the archer, rest is Foundry, Knightmare and Perry.
