Warhammer Shadespire Sepulchral Guard - a short miniature review

A christmas present to me, from me ;-)

I bought this purely for the miniatures I have to admit. I dont know much about the new boardgame "Warhammer Underworls Shadespire" - a game for two with lots of cards involved obviously.

The quality of the plastic miniatures is superb, as you would expect from GW. The level of detail as well as the overall fit and finish are great. I dare to say GW still makes the best multipart plastic miniatures out there. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of these figures: Being used to the recent gigantism coming along with Age of Sigmar, I was expecting skeletons at least twice the size of an average human ;-) However, these undead henchmen are perfectly sized, I would even call them slender. Their weapons are nicely scaled down as well, not the usual oversized toy hammers associated with AoS.

The poses are very dynamic: rotating, rising from the grave, half skull missing and the common foot on rock with flying coat pose - all here and well done. Every figure has its own sculpted base, one coming with a small grave stone. A very nice set and quite useful for every undead fan!
