Definitely the last post for 2014, a Perry figure converted to look remotely like Dürers famous knight. Thanks to my poor sculpting skills I had to cover half of the face with a greenstuff beard after having it messed up beyond recovery. Hope you can guess some similarity ;-)
Stunning paintwork !
AntwortenLöschenThanks!
Löschenbrilliant conversion - you've got him spot on. love the extra details on the helm, etc. what did you use to add the extra horse tack?
AntwortenLöschenNot really spot on, i wanted to look the armour more fluted like in the original pic but couldnt really achieve a decent result. Every extra bid added is greenstuff, either standard or the liquid variant.
LöschenCongratulations, I'm a great fan of Dürer, this miniature is awesome !
AntwortenLöschenThanks Jehan, his work is an inspiration.
LöschenThat's a magnificently converted and painted figure in all details, and a worthy tribute to the great German artist, I am a real fan of his Knight ,the devil and death engraving.
AntwortenLöschenThanks, I thought about doing the trio at first, using a GW beastman and some undead ;-)
LöschenReally nice!!
AntwortenLöschenThank you!
LöschenSuperb looking model, especially like the foxtail standard.
AntwortenLöschenIts greenstuff ;-)
