Hussite Wars 1

The first batch of Bohemian foot is finished. I really like the Agincourt plastic infantry so far. They are a bit larger than the War of the Roses plastics but have a nice conversion potential - there could be more figures with gugels and kettle hats though ;-) Maybe the Perrys will release a Hussite head conversion set one day, who knows?

  1. Nice brush work, I like the Perry's plastics as well. I want to get hold of the new cavalry set that just came out for this period as well.

    Cheers

  2. Great work Stefan - nice headship, already makes a difference. Are you going to use the Kingmaker wagons?
Looking forward to seeing more, not sure I've seen anyone use Perry for Hussites yet?

    1. Thanks Simon! I have some of the Kingmaker Hussite figures - they are not bad at all but do not appeal to me like the Perrys. The conflict started in 1419, only a few years after Agincourt, so armour and gear - at least of the nobility - should have been quite similiar. Of course the typical eastern elements are missing but i try to make up for it with some head swaps and green stuff ;-)
