Burgundian Bombard

Finito. I messed up the gun shield - painted it upside down :-( so I had to do some surgery to make it fit on the scaffold...

  1. Lovely. I saw your previous post on adding bronze to the gunmetal Grey and it works in that it stands out from the soldiers armour. Excellent all round.. The painting on the front of the mantlet really makes the whole Vignette pop .

    1. Thank you, Paul! I took inspiration from an infantry flag.

  2. Wonderful painting Stefan; looks just right and now I'm tempted to try a Burgundian sign on a swinging mantlet too (must have been one at Neuss!). Splendid.

  5. Really love all of your models (can't stop looking at your blog), a great mix between detail / realistic + really popping colours! How do you do your basing? It's such a nice modern yet oldschool colour

    Thanks, Mathias Rapp
